Foreshadow February

This page is dedicated to following the “Foreshadow February” mystery started by Davey on his Twitter account. What follows is a blow-by-blow account of each tweet. Please help us analyze these clues by posting your thoughts in the comments!

On the morning of February 1, Davey tweeted “Months from now. Meaningless moments. May be looked back upon. With Clarity. Until then there is only noise. Tagged, always, as: #FSHDWFB.” From this tweet we can infer that Davey will be posting tweets under the hashtag #FSHDWFB hashtag that seem arbitrary at the time, but in the future we will understand their significance. Davey followed the tweet with this picture and the same hashtag. In the picture is a box of S. Pellegrino Italian sparkling mineral water. This particular bottle is limited edition and released in association with Bulgari, an Italian luxury brand for jewelry and watches. The only connection we can note is that Davey has Italian ancestry (his birth name is Passaro). 

After making this tweet, Davey posted a reply to@PennSavvy who had said, “Something’s gonna happen soon. And it’s gonna happen ala @XDaveyXHavokX #FSHDWFB.” Davey replied, “It may not be soon. But yes. Something has begun. #FSHDWFB.”

On February 2, Davey posted a link to a Youtube video of a song by Primal Scream called “/deep hit of morning sun”. The video has psychedelic influences with many bright colors and strange images.

On February 4, Davey tweeted a recipe for an unidentified meal. The recipe reads, “1/3cp margarine 1/2cp sugar 2cps flour 1 1/2tsp bkng pwdr 1/2tsp bkng soda 2 bananas 1/2cp soy milk 1tsp vanilla 1/2cp walnuts+lies.” It is notable here that “lies” is not a food. We have been told that the recipe is for banana bread.

On February 5, he posted a message that did not have the #FSHDWFB hashtag with it, although it seems to be relevant because of its content. “Before the Gallery. By the Ocean. Steps were taken. Towards a visual. That will overshadow the hints of February. I cannot wait to see them.”

On February 6 he posted an interesting picture of a crumbling building, in the middle of what appears to be a landfill, against the backdrop of a city skyline. The picture looks almost like a miniature because it is very surreal. We have uploaded the picture to Google Image search and the service returned no “visually similar” images. This means that the picture is original and not from another source.

On February 6 Davey retweeted a picture from music video director Matt Stawski. The picture is a rough storyboard drawn on a napkin featuring three characters, two of whom are out of the frame. The sketch is perhaps for a music video that the director is working on. There is no known connection between Stawski and AFI or Blaqk Audio.

On February 7, Davey made another tweet that reads, “Without @PerezHilton What is to come. Would not be the same. #FSHDWFB.” Looking at the tweets made by Hilton in the hours before Davey’s tweet, we found that Perez was tweeting about Proposition 8′s being struck down in California.

On February 10, Davey made an intriguing tweet that reads, “Over Tiramisu. An inspiring discussion. Our consorts are growing. March will present so much more. But the hashtag must change #FSHDWFB.” There are several things that are important to note. Tiramisu is an Italian dessert, which connects to the Italian bottled water shown in an earlier tweet. Also, the recipe for Tiramisu is similar to the ingredients tweeted by Davey several days ago.

Most importantly, the word “consorts” has a little-known definition that states, “A small group of musicians performing together, typically playing instrumental music of the Renaissance period.” In this context the definition certainly makes sense.

On February 13 Davey tweeted a picture of a Havana Brown Cat along with the phrase “his confidant.” Havana Brown Cats are originally from Thailand and were introduced to England in the late 19th century. On February  15 Davey tweeted @mattstawski with the message “over your shoulder” and accompanied his tweet with a picture, which is taken from over somebody’s shoulder and appears to show a designer planning a storyboard. We make this inference because @mattstawski is a music video director.

This morning on February 19 Davey tweeted, “Meetings. The passionate are pulling the talent towards me. We may have found my boy. Tuesday will be telling. Fall will tell all.” This most recent clue indicates that something significant will happen on Tuesday.
