And, true to form, this evening Davey tweeted the following, “It could be him. My boy. Within weeks we shall see. If he can start a fire. @mattstawski bring a Good Book. #FSHDWFB.”

There is a reference in both tweets to a boy, and the phrase “start/light a fire” has typically been used in the context of creating a fire inside (AFI). Yesterday Jade tweeted “walking around Berkeley today” and later remarked “Davey has the worst toothpaste, it’s like brushing your teeth with a rutabaga.” This tweet suggests that the band members are staying together, an arrangement that usually happens when AFI is writing or working on pre-production for an album.

Hunter also left his home in Los Angeles and flew to the Bay Area, tweeting,  ”The Bay Bridge is closed to westbound traffic?! Unwelcome back to the Bay Area, Hunter!” Adam did not make any tweets, but we can infer that he is joining the band in the Bay Area as well.

This information puts Davey’s tweet yesterday into a new, exciting light. He said, “Meetings. The passionate are pulling the talent towards me. We may have found my boy. Tuesday will be telling. Fall will tell all.”

In related news, Hunter posted an amazing picture earlier today on Instagram. The shot was taken from an airplane with the caption “the view from here” which is the title of an unreleased AFI song from the Decemberunderground sessions. Way to tease us, Hunter!

On February 13 Davey tweeted a picture of a Havana Brown Cat along with the phrase “his confidant.” Havana Brown Cats are originally from Thailand and were introduced to England in the late 19th century. On February 15 Davey tweeted @mattstawski with the message “over your shoulder” and accompanied his tweet with a picture, which is taken from over somebody’s shoulder and appears to show a designer planning a storyboard. We make this inference because @mattstawski is a music video director.

This morning on February 19 Davey tweeted, “Meetings. The passionate are pulling the talent towards me. We may have found my boy. Tuesday will be telling. Fall will tell all.” This most recent clue indicates that something significant will happen on Tuesday.
