Artwork is bland
Tracklisting is boring
and Davey is obviously airbrushed
4/10
Hopefully the quality of the music is inversely proportional to the quality of the artwork. Seriously did Davey and/or Jade made it on MS Paint?
Lulz at three different posts with basically the same content
So hopefully a new AFI record next year?.don’t get me wrong but I’m looking forward to BA new album but I think it its truly time for some new inspirational AFI
No, do not hold your breath. I can honestly say that there WILL NOT be a new AFI record next year.
You don’t know if there will be record
The odds are very, very very, very, very, very, very, very slim that a new record will be released in ’13.
They have to write, record, mix, master. PLUS AFI doesn’t have a label that we know of yet so there is that. There could be a slim chance MAYBE at the end of 2013, but my money is on a 2014 release.
FINALLY!
I think the general vibe is, it’s been 3 years of hype over this album, a third of the songs have been released for over a year, and no one cares anymore. Can we get some new afi already?
Preordered
hm, excited, but disappointed there isn’t the grandiose listing from months past, or a series of vinyl singles… or even a format other than iTunes. maybe that will come later?
I’m extremely excited, but like others are saying, that artwork is awful and boring. Maybe we should do a contest for alternate covers.
Well at least this Sept. 11 will be a good one.
Cuz the last almost 11 yrs. Sucked Ass.
I kind of wanted to hear “This Is” as an intro, but I guess it would’ve been a waste of a track on an album that, as many have commented, we have already heard most of. Well, I’ll buy it anyway, and the way I see it: the sooner this album comes out, the sooner AFI gets back to work. At this point, best case scenario, new AFI pre-summer 2014…if we’re lucky. Can’t imagine what a new AFI album will sound by that time. I’m not keeping false hope for a regression into their glory days, but I hope they keep the “rock” element prevalent.
THAT’s the cover? Wow… And where is Down Here? Mouth to Mouth? Afterdark?
You wanted those 3 songs that we’ve overheard already instead of 3 new ones? wow
No I was just expecting them to be on the album, that’s all. I’m surprises they’re not there, but I don’t mind, I have them anyway.
