Congrats to Adam and Eirinie Hamil! According to this Twitter post Adam just proposed to her this morning.

    Bittersweet. I’m very happy for the both of them, though I’m almost worried that two of them being married may see the end of AFI. Regardless, I am, as I said, happy and wish the two the best!

        Um…. okay. I’m not offended because I really don’t even know how to take that. Is it that crazy to say that two members of a 21-year old band having families might mean that they’re gonna stop performing? And is it a sin to be sad about the possibility of a favorite band breaking up imminently? Maybe my comment was a little selfish, but still.

        Also, I like that you spelt my name wrong when you would’ve had to look at it to know what it was :P

    There are other bands with married members. Some even with kids. They’re still together

    This is kind of bittersweet. It doesn’t seem that long ago that AFI was just a bunch of 20-year-olds playing punk. Now so many years later they’re all getting married and such. The old AFI is totally gone now… not really in a bad way, but the members have changed so much.

        Not comletely, but it may affect how they do things, how long they tour, what kind of style they go for…

        Look at Blink – 182′s 2003 album, they themselves said their style, lyrics, etc were influenced by getting married and having kids.
